Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure at the expense of men's displeasure, will win Allah's Pleasure and Allah will cause men to be pleased with him. And whoever seeks to please men at the expense of Allah's displeasure, will win the displeasure of Allah and Allah will cause men to be displeased with him. (Ibn Hibban, Saheeh)

Islam: The true religion

Where am I coming from, where will I go? What is the meaning and purpose of my life? What is death like? Is it certain that there is life after death? Do Paradise and Hell exist? What is the origin of life? Where is our Creator? What does the Creator demand from us? How can I discern between right and wrong? Where do I find the answers to these questions?…

For ages, people have sought answers to these crucial questions, given serious thought to them and discussed them thoroughly. Yet, contrary to what is generally believed, in all ages, the most reliable answers to these questions have been provided, not by the philosophers, but by the "true religion" which is the revelation of God.

Many religions have attracted adherents throughout the world-Buddhism, shamanism and paganism to name but a few. However, none of these were the revelation of God. Therefore, they were nothing more than a philosophy or a movement. Some, having merely a symbolic or cultural meaning, provided no social or psychological solutions to problems. Those who developed these religions, too, thought over these crucial questions, yet they could never find reliable answers.

Nevertheless, there are some "righteous religions" which have to be evaluated separately from these false religions. The most important feature of righteous religions, which distinguishes them from false religions, is their origin: they all have their roots in revelation. God informs mankind in the Qur'an about the superiority of the religion of truth over all other religions, philosophies or sociological systems:

It is He Who sent His messenger with guidance and the religion of Truth to exalt it over every other religion, and God suffices as a witness. (Surat al-Fath: 28)

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the religions which have their roots in revelation. Originally, they were all revealed by God, yet after their respective messengers,  Christianity and Judaism were corrupted.

Man made countless distortions in the Old and New Testaments-making additions and deletions-and as the original books disappeared in time, various forged Old Testaments and New Testaments appeared. Meanwhile, the originals were completely forgotten. Hence, followers of these religions deviated from the original divine religion, and founded their beliefs, rituals, worshipping and life styles upon a wholly distorted understanding of religion fabricated by clergy and rabbis. Today, these beliefs and interpretations still persist. Thus, these distorted religions are very far from providing answers to the questions mentioned above.

After the distortion of these religions, God revealed the last divine Book, which will remain unchanged until the Day of Judgment, and He will be the One Who will surely guard it against all distortions:

We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (Surat al-Hijr: 9)

For 14 centuries, the Qur'an has remained unchanged, and free from corruption. Every single letter of the original hand-written copies of the Qur'an has a one-to-one relation to the current copies we have today. In every corner of the world, people read the very same Qur'an, which proves that the Qur'an is kept under the special protection of God.

Throughout history, God communicated His messages, either by His messengers or His books. The Prophet Adam (as), the first man God created on earth, was assigned the same duty by God. In other words, the first people who appeared on earth were fully aware of the existence of God. Then followed many other messengers and books all throughout world history. God recounts this fact in the Qur'an as follows:

Mankind was once a single community. Then God sent out prophets bringing good news and giving warning, and with them He sent down the Book with the truth to decide between people regarding their differences… (Surat al-Baqara: 213)

As is also stressed in the above-mentioned verse, God communicates His messages to man through His messengers and Books. Messengers always warn their people against the Day of Judgment and an eternal Hell, while they also give them the good tidings of an eternal bliss-Paradise. God, the One Who created man, is also the One Who surely knows the proper conditions in which man would feel most comfortable in this world. That is why the life style and moral values God demands from His servants shape a comfortable life on earth, as well as in the hereafter. In brief, by the mercy of God, religion is the system enabling man to attain an ideally structured life, both psychologically and sociologically.

Although bringing different commandments according to the different environments and conditions of the time they were revealed in, divine religions present to man essentially the same beliefs and moral examples. All divine religions convey fundamental facts about the existence of God. They explain the attributes of God, the purpose in the creation of man and all other living beings, how to be a decent servant of God, the ideal attitude and behaviour praised by God, the way to distinguish between right and wrong, good and bad, how to conduct one's life to earn God's approval and how to attain Paradise.

From this standpoint, the truly righteous religion in the sight of God is Islam. The basis of all religions revealed to man since the time of Prophet Adam (as), is Islam, which means "submission to God." This fact is stressed as follows:

The religion with God is Islam... (Surah Al 'Imran: 19)

Although righteous religions were attributed to their individual messengers and accordingly called "Judaism" and "Christianity," the religions brought by these messengers were all the same righteous religion. In other words, in their time, they were all an Islam;

…He has selected you and not placed any constraint upon you in the observance of your faith-the religion of your father, Ibrahim. In this, as in former scriptures, He has given you the name of Muslims… (Surat al-Hajj: 78)

Those who received divine books (Christians and Jews), before the Qur'an was revealed, were actually Muslims. This fact is related in the Qur'an in the words of those who had true faith among the Christians and Jews:

Those to whom We gave the Book before this believe in it. When it is recited to them, they say, "We believe in it; it is the truth from our Lord. We were already Muslims long before it came. (Surat al-Qasas: 52-53)

When we refer to the Qur'an again, we see that, all through the ages, every prophet communicated the same fundamental system of worship and beliefs:

- The Prophet Zakarriya (as) that the angels called out to him "while he was standing in prayer" (Surah Al 'Imran: 39)

- The Prophet Shu'ayb (as) that his people called out to him saying, "Shu'ayb, do your prayers instruct you that we should renounce the gods our fathers worshipped or stop doing whatever we want to with our wealth? You are clearly forbearing, and rightly-guided!" (Surah Hud: 87)

The Prophet Isma'il (as) that "He used to enjoin upon his people worship (to do salat) and almsgiving (zakat) and his Lord was pleased with him." (Surah Maryam: 55)

- The Prophets Ishaq (as) and Ya'qub (as) that God "enjoined on them prayer (salat) and charity (zakat) and they worshipped none but Ourself." (Surat al-Anbiya': 73)

- The Prophet Musa (as) and his brother that God revealed His will to them, saying "...make your houses places of worship and conduct prayers (establish salat)…" (Surah Yunus: 87)

- The Prophet 'Isa (as) that he said: "He(God) has made me blessed wherever I go, and directed me to be steadfast in prayer (salat) and give alms (zakat) to the poor as long as I shall live." (Surah Maryam: 31)

- The Prophet Luqman (as) that he addressed his son thus: "My son, be steadfast in prayer (salat) and forbid what is wrong…" (Surah Luqman: 17) and "My son, serve no other deity besides God, for idolatry is a terrible wrong." (Surah Luqman:13)

- Maryam (as) that God commanded her thus:"Maryam, obey your Lord, prostrate yourself and bow down with the worshippers." (Surah Al 'Imran: 43)

These are examples of a few fundamental ways of worshipping and tenets of faith, and they can be further extended since essentially the same righteous religion was revealed to all prophets. The basic and immutable features of this righteous religion are repeated in the following verse:

They were ordered to worship only God, making their religion sincerely His as people of pure, natural belief, and to attend to their prayers (salat) and give alms (zakat)-that is surely the correct religion. (Surat al-Bayyina: 5)

Consequently, the religion with God is Islam. God relates this incontrovertible fact in the Qur'an as follows:

If anyone desires anything other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he will be among the losers. (Surah Al 'Imran: 85)

The Biological Clock in Plants

A great many plants possess a biological clock that possesses detailed information about their own structures and other living things that assist in fertilizing them, and that literally resembles a computer centre. The existence of this biological clock points to one single truth; the truth of creation...

The ability to measure time is an ability that one does not usually expect to see in other living things other than man. It may be thought that this is limited to man, but both plants and animals possess a time-measuring mechanism, or "biological clock."
 
In the 1920s, when two scientists in Germany , Erwin Buenning and Kurt Stem, were studying the movement of bean plant leaves, they saw that the plants were moving their leaves towards the sun throughout the day, and that at night they were gathering their leaves vertically upwards and assuming a sleeping position.

Some 200 years before these two scientists published their findings, the French astronomer Jacques d'Ortuous de Marian had also observed that plants possessed such a regular sleep rhythm. Experiments in a dark environment where temperature and moisture were controlled showed that this situation did not change, and that plants possessed systems inside themselves which measure time.

Under natural conditions, plants select certain times for certain activities. They do this in line with certain changes in the sunlight. Because their internal clocks are tuned to sunlight, they complete their rhythmic activities in 24 hours. In other cases, there are some rhythms which are much longer than 24 hours.

No matter how long the rhythmic motions last, there is one point that does not change. These motions happen to ensure the life of the plant and the survival of the generations, and always take place at the most appropriate time. And in order for them to be successful, several complicated processes have to be completed in a flawless manner.

For example, in most plants flowers open at a particular time of year, i.e. at the best possible time. Plants' clocks, which regulate this time, also calculate the duration of sunlight falling on the leaves. Every plant's biological clock calculates this period in accordance with the plant's particular features. No matter what the calculation, the flowers open at the most appropriate time. As a result of research into the regulation of time in the soya bean, it was seen that, at whatever time these plants are sown, they open their flowers at the same time of year.

It causes the time the poppy flower disperses its pollen to coincide with the days and hours when pollinators are most prevalent. And these days and hours vary from plant to plant. But at the end of the day, with this time regulation, every plant disperses its pollen in a manner guaranteed to give the best results. Poppy flowers disperse their pollen in July and August between 05:30 and 10:00 in the morning. That is the time is that bees and other insects emerge to look for food. At this point the flower has to include in its calculation not just its own characteristics, but also those of other living things, down to the finest detail. The plant must have accurate knowledge of the time when the creatures which will fertilize it emerge, the length of the journey they will undertake, and the times they feed. In such a situation the following question comes to mind: Where in the plant is this clock, which possesses all this "information," which does all the necessary calculations, analyses the features of other creatures, and works in a way reminiscent of a computer centre? Where the perfect time measuring system is in plants is still a mystery to the scientists.

This clearly indicates a superior intelligence and power which establishes and controls the timing of all plants' different activities.

The subject of the biological clock in plants is just one of the countless miracles of creation. The theory of evolution, however, which propounds the nonsense that life came into being by chance, is a theory that seeks to find support for its claims by producing various scenarios. This is a fact sometimes admitted even by evolutionists themselves. Dr. Robert Milikan, a Nobel Prize winner and evolutionist, describes the situation in which evolutionists find themselves in these terms:

"The pathetic thing is that we have scientists who are trying to prove evolution, which no scientist can ever prove." (http://www.rmplc.co.uk/eduweb/sites/sbs777/vital/evolutio.html)

With His superior might and omniscience God shows us proofs of creation everywhere, and wills us to draw conclusions and reflect by seeing these. As stated in the Qur'an, only people capable to using their reason can draw conclusions and reflect, and thus find a path to our Lord:

It is He Who sends down water from the sky. From it you drink and from it come the shrubs among which you graze your herds. And by it He makes crops grow for you and olives and dates and grapes and fruit of every kind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect. (Surat an-Nahl, 10-11)

 Muslims will definitely have a spiritual leader, and that leader will be Hazrat Mahdi (as)

The Intercessor

Or have they adopted intercessors besides Allah? Say: “Even though they do not control a thing and have no awareness?” Say: “ Intercession is entirely Allah's affair . The kingdom of the heavens and Earth is His. Then you will be returned to Him.” ( Surat az-Zumar, 39:43-44)

Those who have faith in Allah and yet associate partners with Him assume that these partners will intercede for them on the Day of Judgment. According to their belief, such “guardians” will take responsibility for their followers or purify them. And so they undertake strenuous efforts to earn their approval and constantly think of them. But this is no more than a huge delusion, for Allah states that He will be the only Protector on the Day of Judgment, as follows:

Abandon those who have turned their religion into a game and a diversion, who have been deluded by the life of the world. Remind [them] by it [the Qur'an], lest a person is delivered up to destruction for what he has earned with no protector or intercessor besides Allah. Were he to offer every kind of compensation, it would not be accepted from him... ( Surat al-An‘am, 6:70)

On that Day, no one will befriend another or bear someone's sins. As Allah informs us, only those who please Him will be allowed to intercede, and this person will surely say the truth. Unbelievers will find no guardian or intercessor on that Day, and no support, protection, or intercession, for Allah is the only Guardian and Intercessor:

Allah created the heavens and Earth and everything between them in six days, and then established Himself firmly upon the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor apart from Him. So will you not pay heed? ( Surat as-Sajda, 32:4)

Our Prophet (saas) revealed that the life span of the world was 7000 years

It is made clear in works by great and reliable Sunni scholars, such as the Sunan Abu Dawud and the Letters of Imam Rabbani, that every 100 years Allah sends a person to cleanse the moral values of the religion and purge them of subsequent innovations. The timing of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as), whose coming in the End Times is foretold in hadiths handed down from our Prophet (saas), is given as Hijri 1400. Within a certain time frame inside this 100-year period the moral values of Islam will rule the whole world and the system of the antichrist that opposes them will be entirely eliminated. However, following this rise, which will last for approximately 100 years, the world will enter a new phase of degeneration, coinciding with the Hijri 1500s. In one hadith narrated by many scholars, including Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, a hadith scholar, our Prophet (saas) says that 5600 years of the life span of the world had passed by his day:

Ahmad Ibn Hanbal transmitted in his 'Ilal: FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED YEARS HAVE PASSED FROM THIS WORLD. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 89)

Many other hadiths contain clear references to the total life span of the world being 7000 years:

Anas Ibn Malik narrates that the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: THE LIFE SPAN OF THE WORLD IS SEVEN DAYS IN THE DAYS OF THE HEREAFTER. Almighty Allah has said: ONE DAY IN THE SIGHT OF YOUR LORD IS LIKE A THOUSAND OF YOUR YEARS. ALLAH WILL ASCRIBE THE EQUIVALENT OF GOOD DEEDS OF THE SEVEN THOUSAND YEARS OF THE AGE OF THIS WORLD to the one who meets the need of any of his brothers in the faith on the path of Allah as if he spends his days in fasting and his nights in worship. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 88)

Narrated from Daqqaq Ibn Zaid Al-Juhani: I told the Messenger of Allah (saas) of a dream I had had. In that dream the Messenger of Allah (saas) was at the top step of a seven-stepped pulpit. He said: THE SEVEN-STEPPED PULPIT YOU SEE IS THE SEVEN THOUSAND YEARS OF AGE OF THIS WORLD. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 89)

According to these hadiths, which appear in the book Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman by Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, one of the greatest Sunni scholars, our Prophet (saas) put the life span of the world at 7000 years.  Hadiths putting the life span of the world at 7000 years also appear in the works of many other Sunni scholars, including Al-Muttaqi’s Kanz al-Ummal, hadith no. 16459, Muhammad Tahir Ibn Ali al-Hindi‘s Tadhkirat al-Mawduat, I/223, Imam Sakhawi’s al-Maqasid al-Hasana (transmitted by Daylami), I/693, hadith no. 1243, Al-Munawi’s Fayz al-Qadir, III/547, hadith no. 4278 (transmitted by Daylami) and Bayazid Bistami’s Miftah al-Jifr. This is clear evidence that Sunni scholars are in complete agreement on the subject.

Said Nursi, the mujaddid of the Hijri 1300s and the greatest one of the last millennium, cited the Hijri 1500s as the period of dominion of Islamic moral values. He stated that Muslims would enjoy a time of clear and explicit victory up until then. He said that in the years after that, the rise of the moral values of Islam would come to an end and that the Last Day would break for the unbelievers in the Hijri year 1545. “A group from my community will remain in truth until Allah’s command [the Judgment Day].”

The abjad calculation of the clause “A group from my community...” which is 1542 (2117) implies its [the community’s] time of survival. The abjad calculation of the clause “will remain in truth” (when the gemination mark is counted) gives 1506 (2082); it indicates until that date it will continue its work of enlightenment evidently and obviously, and maybe victoriously; then until 1542 (2117) in secrecy and defeat. The abjad calculation of the clause “until Allah’s command” (when the gemination mark is counted) suggests that THE JUDGMENT DAY WILL BEFALL the unbeliever in 1545 (2120). (Kastamonu Addendum, p. 33)

In several trustworthy hadiths our Prophet (saas) has revealed that even if the world had only one day of life remaining, Allah would prolong that day and cause Hazrat Mahdi (as) to appear. This is an exceedingly important statement. That is because the people who reject the hadiths, saying that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not appear in Hijri 1400, despite our Prophet’s (saas) accounts, are obviously also ignoring these other hadiths. The fact is, through these hadiths, the Prophet (saas) is explicitly stating how important the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as), and the global dominion of Islamic moral values in which he will be instrumental, are for mankind.

(The following passage comes from page 299 of the Turkish expanded 9th edition of Muhammad Ibn Rasul al-Hussain al-Barzanji’s (Hijri 1040-1103) Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah translated into Turkish by Naim Erdogan.)

It is narrated from Abdullah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: A person from the Ahl al-Bayt whose name is compatible with mine will assume the leadership ... IF THERE WERE ONLY ONE DAY LEFT FOR THIS WORLD, ALLAH WOULD LENGTHEN IT UNTIL HE [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] TOOK POWER. (Tirmidhi, 4/92)

According to Hazrat Ali, the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: IF THERE WERE ONLY ONE DAY LEFT FOR THE WORLD, THAT DAY WOULD BE LENGTHENED UNTIL A MAN FROM AMONG THE PEOPLE OF MY HOUSEHOLD WAS SENT. (Sunan Abu Dawud, 5/92)

Ibn Majah and Abu Naim relate an account from Abu Huraira, saying that the Prophet (saas) said: IF ONLY ONE DAY REMAINS TO THE WORLD ALLAH WILL PROLONG THAT DAY AND MAKE ONE FROM MY AHL AL-BAYT LORD. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, 10; Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadharr, 27; Ash-Sharani, Mukhtasar Tazkirah al-Qurtubi, p. 437)

For that reason, these people who make illogical and fantastical statements, not based on the hadiths, that the first quarter of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) appearance has gone by, for which reason he will be coming in some other century, should reflect on and consider the hadiths once again.

The words of our Prophet (saas), who says that Allah "will prolong that day if only one day remains to the world and cause Hazrat Mahdi (as) to appear," suggest that if necessary, time will be extended for Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) coming. That means that the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not be moved from this century and deferred to some other – as these people maintain – and that, on the contrary, Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) coming is still to be anticipated in the Hijri 1400s. This is very important, as it covers the period right up to the last day of Hijri 1499.

If Allah does extend the time frame for the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) that will be up until the Hijri 1500s, and Hazrat Mahdi (as) will continue his work of spreading the moral values and virtues of Islam and the Sunnah of our Prophet (saas) in a variety of ways. But our Prophet (saas) says that after the extension in question, which will not exceed the 7000-year life span of the world, the influence of Islamic moral values over the world will begin to decline, not suddenly, but gradually and in such a way as not to eliminate all possibility of doubt. As Bediuzzaman Said Nursi says, the Day of Judgment that will take place at the end of the 7000-year life span of the world will, by Allah’s leave, may be expected as of the Hijri 1500s. (Allah knows the truth).

The great Sunni scholar Al-Barzanji states that the life span of the world will not exceed Hijri 1600, in other words, that by Allah’s leave The Judgment Day will take place some time in the 1500s. (Allah knows the truth.)

THE LIFE OF THIS COMMUNITY WILL EXCEED 1000 YEARS, YET BE LIMITED TO 1500 YEARS... (Al-Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p. 299)

As-Suyuti’s statement made on the basis of the hadith handed down from our Prophet (saas) is as follows:

THE LIFE OF MY COMMUNITY WILL NOT EXCEED 1500 YEARS. (As-Suyuti, Al-Kashf 'an Mujawazat Hazihi al-Ummah al-Alf; As-Suyuti, Al-Hawi Lil-Fatawi, 2/248; Tafsir Ruh al-Bayan. Burusawi 4/262; Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Kitab al-`Ilal, p. 89)

In that case, if the people we have been addressing throughout this discussion say that they have no doubts concerning Sunni belief and are totally loyal to the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah, and that even the teachers who taught them have issued explicit declarations on the subject, then they must also agree with the views that these two great and lofty Sunni scholars have expressed in their own works. They must not distract Muslims with statements that totally contradict the common opinion of these great scholars and are based on no reliable hadiths at all. They should evaluate and then notify their opinions on the age we are living in by agreeing with the profound views, research and scholarship of As-Suyuti and Al-Barzanji, who occupy such an important place among Sunni scholars, and in the light of trustworthy hadiths transmitted from the Prophet (saas).

What must not be forgotten that on such issues Muslims must attach absolute credence to hadiths from our Prophet (saas) that Sunni scholars unanimously regard as completely trustworthy. Muslims would attach no credence to the words of someone who produces an irrational logic, based on no verses or hadiths, to defer the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) to some other century and explicitly reject all the hadiths that speak of “the appearance of an individual from among the Muslims at the beginning of every century who will rid the religion of subsequent innovations” that scholars such as Imam Rabbani, Abu Dawud, As-Suyuti, Al-Barzanji and Said Nursi unanimously accept.

The Powerful Influence On The Global Spread Of Belief In Creation In The World Press

The common caption in the world’s greatest publishing organs was: CREATIONISM IS SPREADING ACROSS THE WORLD, AND ADNAN OKTAR IS LEADING THE MOVEMENT.
 
The latest attempt by Darwinists to resuscitate the theory of evolution was to hold a conference on evolution in Egypt, a Muslim country. But Darwinists must have realized that their propaganda would no longer serve any purpose at the conference in Alexandria, as they expressed the discomfort they felt in the face of the increasing spread of the Creationist movement across the world. The common point they all mentioned was that a Creationist movement that admitted the old age of the earth HAD FLOURISHED IN TURKEY, and that ADNAN OKTAR was its pioneer, that THE MOVEMENT HAD SPREAD ALL OVER THE WORLD by way of the scientific evidence, the internet and Atlas of Creation, and that teachers, students, and even doctors who had received a Darwinist education across a wide part of the world were saying that it was now impossible to convince anybody on the subject of evolution. The Darwinists in question made their unease at the rapid spread of this movement absolutely crystal clear.

This concern that Darwinists have been feeling for a very long time has recently been appearing intensively in the world press. THE NEW YORK TIMES, regarded as the world’s best known daily, discussed the subject under the banner headline “Creationism, Minus Young Earth, Emerges in the Islamic World” on 3 November, 2009. The article, written by Kenneth Chang, reported that Darwinists from various countries had referred to the rapid growth of the Creationist movement at conferences they had held and that they also regarded this as a threat. The greatest concern of these Darwinists was that the Creationist movement now spreading across the worlds does not regard the earth as young and points to fossils dating back millions of years as supporting evidence. The article also stated that ADNAN OKTAR was in the vanguard of this great awakening. It said that as a result of Adnan Oktar’s influence there had been a serious change in Turkey over the last 10 years, that this change had spread across the world and that biology teachers in Indonesia in particular were teaching from Harun Yahya books.  

Following this article, a second interesting report about the influence of Harun Yahya in the world, appeared in THE WASHINGTON POST, another of America’s best-known dailies, on 8 November, 2009. The Washington Post report was titled “In Turkey, Fertile Ground for Creationism.” This article. Penned by Marc Kaufmann, stated that Turkey was where the anti-evolution campaign was most effective, and that the campaign had spread from there to the rest of the world, especially to Muslim countries. The same report went on to say that an INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT had begun with the arrival of Adnan Oktar’s Atlas of Creation. It then went on to say that while American adherents of intelligent design were still struggling TO MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD, Adnan Oktar had established an ANTI-EVOLUTION EMPIRE capable of reaching very, very far.  

On 4 November, 2009, the INTERNATIONAL HERALD TRIBUNE carried Kenneth Chang’s New York Times report under the caption “Blending Science and Faith.” That report again stated that under the influence of Adnan Oktar Islamic creationism was spreading across the world.

That is by no means the full extent of the reactions from abroad. On 15 November, 2009, THE GUARDIAN, Britain’s best known pro-Darwinian daily, carried a report headed “Evolution’s Classroom Crisis.” This article, written by Riazat Butt, said that Islamic creationism differed from the creationism in America (because of its view of the young age of the earth), AND THAT IT WAS RAPIDLY AND EFFECTIVELY BEING SPREAD ACROSS THE WORLD BY ADNAN OKTAR. The piece then said that the explicit resistance to evolution, particularly in Indonesia, had come about as a result of the works of Harun Yahya and that Indonesian teachers used the works of Harun Yahya as a reference text. The Guardian carried a similar report on 13 November, 2009, saying that the international exchange of ideas had reached very great dimensions and citing the opinions of Michael Reiss, an Anglican priest and professor at London’s Institute of Education. Reiss said that what the Turks believed in today, the Germans and British would believe in tomorrow. He then said that because of this influential movement intelligent 16, 17 and 18-year-olds in British schools no longer believed in evolution.

One of the most important reports on the subject came from REUTERS, the world’s largest news agency. Written by Tom Henegan and dated 16 November, 2009, the report was titled “Muslim Creationism Is Back in The News, This Time in Egypt” and contained information about HARUN YAHYA, the Islamic world’s BEST KNOWN PROPONENT OF EVOLUTION. The piece noted HARUN YAHYA’S WORLDWIDE IMPACT in the best-known publications.

THE TIMES web site carried that report on 17 November, 2009, under the heading “Muslim Academics and Students are Turning Against Darwin’s Theory.” Written by Ruth Gledhill, the piece said that opinion polls, particularly in Muslim countries, showed that the level of belief in evolution was no greater than 15%, and that this had happened as a result of people being able to access the works of Harun Yahya.

THE BOSTON GLOBE web site covered the subject under the heading “Islam’s Darwin Problem.” Written by Drake Bennett and dated 25 October, 2009, this piece discussed Adnan Oktar’s activities and the impact of the Atlas of Creation. The article also said that because of Adnan Oktar’s activities Turkey has become the main headquarters for Creationism, but that the anti-evolution movement had spread from Turkey across the world.  

Similar reports have continued to appear in such publications as the PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, BELIEFNET and THE NATIONAL. In a very short space of time the whole world has openly come to discuss the global impact of Adnan Oktar.

This rise is in fact one that has been going on for some time. But Darwinists ignored it for a while and imagine they could still be successful using the propaganda techniques of the previous 150 years. But they failed to calculate that the scientific evidence would demolish their theory so completely. They never guessed that people could be so intelligent and aware, that they would easily deduce from the scientific evidence that evolution does not exist and would realize that evolution is a total fraud. Darwinists never imagined that the global resistance to evolution would be so strong and comprehensive and that, in summary, THEY WOULD BE ROUTED SO COMPREHENSIVELY.
 
What Darwinists tried to ignore has now befallen them, however. The majority of people across the world are now opposed to evolution, maintain that Allah creates all living things and are rebelling against Darwinist indoctrination. And all Darwinists can do in the face of this is to come together to discuss their own defeat and helplessness!
 
This rout was of course clear right from the outset. The promise made by Allah is that all superstitious faiths that rebel against Him (surely Allah is beyond that) will be eliminated. As a superstitious and heretical religion produced under the rule of the anti-christ (dajjal) in the End Times, Darwinism will of course be destroyed. THIS ELIMINATION IS MANIFESTING ITSELF ACROSS THE WORLD THROUGH ADNAN OKTAR.

Say: “Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Falsehood is always bound to vanish.” (Surat Al-Isra’, 81)

THE PRESERVATION OF PHARAOH'S BODY

As we shall see later on, Pharaoh regarded himself as a deity and responded with slanders and threats to Prophet Musa's (as) calls for him to believe in Allah. This arrogant attitude lasted until he was faced with the threat of death through drowning. The Qur'an relates that Pharaoh immediately turned to belief when faced with Allah's punishment:

We brought the tribe of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of tyranny and enmity. Then, when he was on the point of drowning, he [Pharaoh] said: "I believe that there is no god but Him in Whom the tribe of Israel believes. I am one of the Muslims." (Surah Yunus, 90)

However, this last-minute conversion was not accepted, for it was not sincere. According to the Qur'an, Allah exclaimed:

"What, now! When previously you rebelled and were one of the corrupters? Today we will preserve your body so you can be a Sign for people who come after you. Surely many people are heedless of Our Signs." (Surah Yunus, 91-92)

The information that Pharaoh's corpse would serve as a sign for later generations may be regarded as an indication that his body would not decay. On display in the Royal Mummies Chamber of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo is a mummified body believed to be that of this tyrant. In all likelihood, Pharaoh's body floated to shore after being drowned, was found and mummified by the Egyptians, and then carried to a previously prepared burial chamber.¹

WILLOW

Willows are deciduous trees that belong to the Salicaceae family. Like all other plant species, willows have remained unchanged for millions of years. In other words, they have not gone through evolution. Willows, simply refuting Darwinists' claims of gradual evolution, once again verify that God created them, together with all living beings. The 54- to 37- million-year-old willow leaf fossil pictured is one important piece of evidence.
