RAMADAN 2010 - The 25th Day

You can only warn those who act on the Reminder and fear the All-Merciful in the Unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. (Surah Ya Sin, 11)

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger(saas) said, “He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must not harm his neighbour, and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day must show hospitality to his guest, and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Everything is recorded in destiny

The fact that one’s life happens according to his or her destiny, which is determined by Allah, is a grace and a wonderful manifestation of His names All Merciful, Most Merciful. Believers who know this display eagerness, joy, and patience in the face of hardships, for they understand that Allah has created everything for a good purpose and according to His will:

The keys of the Unseen are in His possession. No one knows them but Him. He knows everything in the land and sea. No leaf falls without His knowing it. There is no seed in the darkness of the soil, and nothing moist or dry, that is not in a Clear Book. (Surat al-An’am, 59)

Given that human beings are bound by time, they can only interpret events by looking at individual moments. Unable to know the future, they may not always see the long-term reason, good, and purpose of a particular event. But Allah, Who created time and therefore is not bound by it, looks from outside of time at the lives of all beings. Thus, destiny is Allah’s knowledge of every present, past and future event as a single moment. In other words, the events of the future are unkown only for us. For this reason, the test’s beginning and end are clear. The past, present, and future are all one in His sight, for time, a human construct, does not apply to Him. But we learn of these events only after we have experienced them.

Those who believe in destiny are patient in all situations and experience the comfort of knowing that everything happens according to His will: “No misfortune occurs except by Allah’s permission. Whoever believes in Allah – He will guide his [or her] heart. Allah has knowledge of all things” (Surat at-Taghabun, 11). Unbelievers, who have no understanding of destiny, endure great anxiety, stress, and discontent – totally unlike believers, who are content as a mercy from Allah, secure in the knowledge that they are surrounded by His endless mercy, and that everything happens for a reason.

Believers may encounter anxiety and hardship, such as the loss of their possessions or physical strength, illness, injury, or death. But they accept these as tests, as wonderful manifestations of His name All Merciful and Most Merciful. They realize that their moral character in such situations has great value in His sight. This pleasure, which belongs only to believers, enables them to face any difficulty without the accompanying feelings of sorrow, stress, pain, panic, or fear that are common among unbelievers. Allah will turn the apparent evil into good for them, bring them through the test, and reward them both in this world and the next for their patience and endurance: “Allah will not give the unbelievers any way against the believers” (Surat an-Nisa, 141). Those who trust and rely on Allah no longer experience any fear or sadness:

Those who say “Our Lord is Allah” and then go straight will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat al-Ahqaf, 13)

Not so! All who submit themselves completely to Allah and are good-doers will find their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat al-Baqara, 112)

Yes, the friends of Allah will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. Those who believe and have done their duty, there is good news for them in the life of this world and in the Hereafter. There is no changing the words of Allah. That is the great victory! (Surah Yunus, 62-64)

Allah also says that those who believe and submit to Him have taken hold of the Firmest Handhold, one that will never break off:
Those who submit themselves completely to Allah and do good have grasped the Firmest Handhold. The end result of all affairs is with Allah. (Surah Luqman, 22)

There is no compulsion where religion is concerned. Right guidance has become clearly distinct from error. Anyone who rejects false deities and believes in Allah has grasped the Firmest Handhold, which will never give way. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara, 256)

The eager, joyful, and strong character that believers display in the face of difficulties and anxiety comes from their belief in Allah, destiny, and the Hereafter, as well as from their submission to Him. The messengers and sincere believers are great examples of such submission and strength. Among these people are the sorcerers in Pharaoh’s court who accepted Moses’ (pbuh) death and later were threatened by Pharaoh with death.

Pharaoh tried to drive these believers off the straight path by threatening them with torture and death. He thought that his army and show of strength would demoralize them, but they told him that they only feared and respected Allah, to Whom they turned in times of adversity. Thus, they refused to abandon the trust and submission to Allah that their faith gave them:

Pharaoh said: “Do you believe in him before I have authorized you [to do so]? He is your chief, the one who taught you magic. I will cut off your hands and feet alternately and have you crucified on palm trunks. Then you will know for certain which of us has the harsher and longer lasting punishment.” They said: “We will never prefer you to the Clear Signs that have come to us, nor to Him Who brought us into being. Decide on any judgment you like. Your jurisdiction only covers the life of this world. We have believed in our Lord so that He may forgive us for our mistakes and for the magic that you forced us to perform. Allah is better and longer lasting.” (Surah Ta Ha, 71-73)

Miniature Database: DNA

DNA is the database of the human body. Take a look at people around you and try to think for a moment about what kinds of characteristics they have. In fact, the color of their eyes, their height, the color and type of their hair, their voice, and the color of their skin and all such data is recorded in their DNA. This database contains all kinds of information about the structure and needs of both the cell in which it exists and of all other cells in the body. Comparing the human body to a structure, we find a complete blueprint of the body, including each and every detail, not excluding the slightest, in the nucleus of every cell within DNA.

DNA is carefully protected in the nucleus in the center of a cell. When one remembers that the average diameter of a cell is one-hundredth of a millimeter, one can better grasp an understanding of how small a region is being discussed. This miraculous molecule is clear evidence for the perfection and splendor of God's artistry in creation.

The information contained in DNA not only determines physical characteristics but also controls thousands of different processes and systems in the cells and the body. Having either low or high blood pressure, for example, depends on the information contained in DNA.

Scientists have advanced different theories in order to emphasize the amount of information contained in the genetic structure of man. The information in DNA is so plentiful that if books containing this information were stacked one on top of each other, they would reach sky-high, all the way to 70 meters (230 feet). Scientists have also calculated how long it would take to type the gene map of a human and they concluded that a person typing 60 words per minute and working 8 hours a day would take fully a half-century to complete this momentous task. They also stated that approximately 200 telephone directories of 500 pages apiece could be filled with the information contained in DNA.

A chain made up of atoms lined up side by side, each having a diameter of one-millionth of a millimeter, has such an immense amount of information and memory that a living creature can use it to carry out all its life functions. This is evidence for creation. With the information He put into DNA, God once again presents His boundless power and the fact that He has no partner in creation. The boundlessness of God's knowledge is related in a verse with the following comparison:

Say: "If all the sea was ink to write down the Words of my Lord, it would run out long before the Words of my Lord ran out," even if We were to bring the same amount of ink again. (Qur'an, 18:109)

Sight is very sharp in paradise

AL-MUHSIN
The Giver

Say: “ All favor is in Allah's Hand, and He gives it to whoever He wills . Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. He picks out for His mercy whoever He wills. Allah's favor is indeed immense. ” (Surah Al ‘Imran, 3:73-74)

One of Allah's immutable laws is that He rewards His sincere servants, both for their zeal and as an indication of His favor, with blessings and beauty. Since wealth, glory, and beauty are the basic attributes of Paradise, Allah creates similar settings and blessings to remind His beloved servants of Paradise and to augment their desire and excitement for it. That is why, just as unbelievers' infinite punishment starts in this world, Allah starts presenting the infinite beauties He promises to His sincere believers in this world.

In one verse, Allah states that He will grant those who repent and seek His forgiveness blessings also in this world. One verse reads:

Ask your Lord for forgiveness and then repent to Him. He will let you enjoy a good life until a specified time, and will give His favor to all who merit it. But if you turn your backs, I fear for you the punishment of a Mighty Day. (Surah Hud, 11:3)

Believers always meet Allah's favor and help. Being aware of the grandeur of Almighty Allah, Who created them, they comply with His commands and prohibitions, live by the religion with which He is pleased, and, most importantly, have great hopes and expectations for their next life. Allah will recompense them for the best of what they did, for He rewards every good made for His cause, as the following verses proclaim:

Will the reward for doing good be anything other than good? ( Surat ar-Rahman, 55:60)

What will those who invent lies against Allah think on the Day of Rising? Allah shows favor to mankind, but most of them are not thankful. (Surah Yunus, 10:60)

Nor will they give away any amount, whether large or small; nor will they cross any valley, without it being written down for them, so that Allah can recompense them for the best of what they did. ( Surat at-Tawba, 9:121)

The metaphor of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah is that of a grain that produces seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains. Allah gives such multiplied increase to whoever He wills. Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:261)

Satan promises you poverty and commands you to avarice. Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and abundance. Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:268)

Allah will clear Hazrat Mahdi (as) of slanders pointed at Him

Al-Mahdi [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] who is among the family of Muhammad (saas)… has a wide stomach, his eyebrow are very close, his legs are very energetic, his shoulders are wide… his night shall guard the stars by his bowing down and prostration to Allah, he whom the blames of those that blame him will not affect him before Allah, he is a luminous lamp…
(Bihar al-Anwar: 86-81)

In the hadith, it is mentioned that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be descended from the line of our Prophet (saas). The physical features of Hazrat Mahdi (as) that his having a wide stomach, his eyebrows being not far from but close to one another, Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) legs being very energetic and his shoulders being wide are mentioned in the hadith. In the hadiths, it is pointed out that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will spend his nights by praying and carrying out scholarly activities for the sake of Allah. In addition it is also mentioned that there will be people who unjustly accuse Hazrat Mahdi (as). But inshaAllah Allah will clear Hazrat Mahdi (as) of slanders pointed at him. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be like a candle casting a heavenly light with his pure Islamic morality, which instantly shines out among the dark features of morality experienced by society in general.

Britons Want Creation To Be Taught In Schools

Great Britain, Darwin’s own homeland, now rejects evolution. For years the bastion of Darwinism, Britain has come to oppose evolution extraordinarily quickly over the past few years. The country heads the list of those in which the fact of creation is spreading the quickest, and the public, as recent newspaper headlines show, now want students to learn about the fact of creation in schools.

Richard Dawkins, who has recently stepped up his pro-Darwinist and atheist activities in Britain, imagined that Darwinism, the worst deception in the world, would be strengthened with atheist camps and demagoguery. Dawkins has been engaged in wide-ranging activities to that end for many years now, and has expressed his concern at the spread of Creationist belief, and has set these fears out in his latest book in such a clear manner that they cannot be denied. Rather than providing any scientific evidence to support his claims, Dawkins makes far from scientific accusations, writes slogans on the sides of public buses, seeks to attract interest by performing impersonations on talk shows and most recently sought shelter behind the idea of aliens. He truly imagined that these false and demagogic methods would work. His latest book, in which he claims to “provide evidence for evolution,” actually contains not a single piece of scientific evidence, only demagoguery, but he actually thinks that this outdated method going back 150 years can still influence people today.

The fact is, however, that Dawkins’ efforts in this direction have been in vain and have enabled people to better see the true face of evolution. According to the results of an opinion poll conducted last year, only 25% of British people believe in evolution. Parents have now objected to the state of affairs in which evolution alone has been taught in schools and that has persisted for many years, and have now said, “Creation should also be taught in schools.” The increasingly rapid turning toward Allah in Britain in particular has fundamentally undermined and demolished the bastion of Darwinism. Dawkins must have been amazed to see the turning toward the fact of Creation among the British people in whom he had placed so much faith, since he had no hesitations over ignorantly describing his own people as “ignorant.”

Those who went along with superstition and failed to comprehend the sublime might and power of Allah have always fallen into the error into which Dawkins and other Darwinists have fallen. They have believed that a claim put forward in opposition to Allah, a mass deception, could muster support and grow using corrupt and false methods. They imagined that the more propaganda was made, the more effective it would be. They imagined they could make good their lack of scientific evidence by indulging in impersonations on chat shows, putting posters up on the sides of buses and entering into debates with middle school students. The fact is, however, that by doing so they have made the great mistake committed by everyone who has ever striven against Allah. Allah has always thwarted the plans of those who strove against the truth with superstition and led them to failure. Under the law of our Almighty Lord, those who do this in the future will also be condemned to failure. Almighty Allah tells us in His verses:

... Allah is our Lord and your Lord. We have our actions and you have your actions. There is no debate between us and you. Allah will gather us all together. He is our final destination.’ The argument of those who argue about Allah, once He has been acknowledged, has no basis whatsoever with their Lord… (Surat ash-Shura, 15-16)

PLANE TECHNOLOGY

And to Sulayman We gave the fiercely blowing wind, speeding at his command toward the land that We had blessed. And We had full knowledge of everything. (Qur'an, 21:81)

As the above verse relates, Allah placed the wind under Prophet Sulayman's (as) command and allowed him to use it as a vehicle. There is a strong possibility of an indication here that, as in Prophet Sulayman's (as) time, wind energy will also be used in the technology of the future.

And We gave Sulayman power over the wind-a month's journey in the morning and a month in the afternoon... (Qur'an, 34:12)

The expression "a month's journey in the morning and a month in the afternoon" may be drawing attention to the fact that Prophet Sulayman (as) moved rapidly between different regions perhaps by using a technology similar to an airplane, or developed wind-powered vehicles that could cover long distances quickly. (Allah knows best.) There is thus a strong possibility that these verses point to modern airplane technology.

OYSTER

Age: 150 million years
Period: Jurassic
Location: Chile

"Oyster" is a generic name given to a group of shelled mollusks that live in the ocean, feeding on plankton which they filter through their gills. The shells containing high levels of calcium are generally fossilized easily. The oldest known oyster fossil comes from the Ordovician period (490 to 443 million years ago). Despite the approximately half a million years that have passed since then, oysters have not changed. Those oysters that lived 490 million years ago or 150 million years ago are no different from those alive today. This fact completely nullifies the claims of evolution that creatures evolved in stages, in a succession of tiny changes. The fossil record shows that creatures have not gone through any process of evolution and that Almighty God created them.

President: Eat grape instead of drinking alcohol

What He Said

Kral Karadeniz TV,  22nd of Jan 2009

Adnan Oktar: When vine and grape juice are compared, the ingredient that is beneficial to the heart also exists in the grape juice. I mean, if they want to benefit from it; there is much more of the ingredient in black grape juice than that of vine. Nevertheless, the toxic material consisted in vine is very high; that is to say there are hundreds of toxic materials. By-product materials. For instance, let’s assume that we eat a dish made by aubergine. When this goes off, it becomes sour and goes bad. Does a man eat that? He doesn’t. Why? Because it becomes harmful as proteins, sugar, starch, etc. turn into toxin and by-product materials because their chemical and molecular structures are destroyed. This also holds true for vine. The pure grape juice is very healthy on its own; there is sugar, other ingridients, some protein and very beneficial materials in it. But these materials are disintegrated by the bacteria, they turn into toxic ingredients. For this reason, a person who drinks it is poisoned in a serious manner. For instance, it turns into methyl and ethyl alcohol – both of these materials are referred as poison in medicial books. The visual disorder a drinking person suffers is something that originates from the toxication of the body. Mercurial poisonning also causes the very same symptons.

Allah's Art Of Detail

It is Almighty Allah Who created all people out of nothing, Who created all of the beauty that surrounds them and all of the blessings of which they are aware or unaware. He constantly renews each of these blessings and creates the astonishing details in each one. This is Allah’s art of detail.

With His unbounded knowledge, Allah created systems that human beings cannot comprehend because they have not yet discovered their details. Inside each detail are even more delicate beauties that reveal His Greatness and Might. If He willed, He could dispose of them all. Our duty is to thank Him for these unconditional blessings, know that we need Him, and turn only to Him.

This book seeks to remind people of this important truth, which He revealed in the Qur’an.
