THE VAST MAJORITY OF MUSLIMS - In this world are peaceful, respectful, well educated and loving people, but suffer from a very bad rap because of the way our government and our mainstream media portray them (intentionally)! These good people suffer the label of terrorists or those who intend to do us harm with little regard to the facts.
In America they are demonized, talked ill about and sometimes in a most vulgar fashion! But we have freedom of speech and exercise it quite regularly, sometimes to a hurtful and destructive extreme, all being done without ever looking to see if what we are being conditioned to believe is even based on fact.
So my question to you then is would you condone or tolerate hate speech if directed at yourself or your family or friends as being acceptable or protected and does this in fact not perpetuate it and thus conflict?
Mankind has free will to think any thought but to practice these thoughts in the same fashion produces a quandary or a paradox because freedom of action unlike freedom of thought directly affects the safety or comfort of surrounding individuals. So a civilized society will always have to live within guidelines to propagate peace. The only question is by who's guidelines, the few through tyranny or the many through respect and mutual understanding (read the tyrants or We The People)!
Please reach out to our Muslim friends and talk, get to know them and make some very good and productive relationships. What you will discover will amaze you because this is a people rich in history, culture and wisdom. We ask you to put your conditioned ignorance, hate and fear aside and help WTPN to build bridges because after all we have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
